CSU Announces Successful Completion of Virtualization & Migration at 100+ Retail Stores
CSU announced today that it had successfully completed a 6 months project for a major NY Stock Exchange retail operation at more than 100 of its stores throughout the USA. “This project was designed by CSU to replace older HP PA-RISC servers and attached fiber storage with the newest technology,” stated Matt Seif, Vice President. “We are very proud of this successful completion,” added Mr. Seif, “but we are just as proud of the fact that the virtualization and migration project was completed on schedule and without any disruption of IT services at any store. The newest technology servers virtualized by CSU and the SAN storage replacement not only afford significant performance improvements, but also will provide high availability redundancy, reduced space and electrical requirements, and substantial reductions in maintenance costs.”
